General And I: Introduction
The General and I is a story about an unlikely romance between a Korean War general and his bodyguard. The drama is set in the 1950s and based on real events.
The drama begins with General Kim Joong-gil (played by Choi Si-won) being assigned to lead the Korean War effort. He is a tough and no-nonsense leader who expects nothing but the best from his men. However, he meets his match in Sergeant Major Nam Seon-woo (played by Lee Jong-suk), who is assigned to be his bodyguard.
Nam Seon-woo is a man of few words, but he is fiercely loyal to the general and takes his job very seriously. As the two men spend more time together, they begin to form a deep bond that goes beyond just professional respect.
The drama follows their relationship as they navigate the politics of war and deal with personal tragedies. It is ultimately a story about love, loss, and hope against all odds.
General And I: Plot
The story is set in the early 1900s and follows the lives of a group of young people in an elite military school. The focus is on two students, Lee Kang To and Ko Yang Sun, who have been friends since childhood. However, their relationship is put to the test when they find themselves on opposite sides of the law.
Lee Kang To is a talented student who comes from a wealthy family. He is diligent and obedient, but also has a rebellious streak. When he meets Yang Sun, he immediately falls for her. However, she is already betrothed to another man.
Yang Sun is a beautiful and spirited young woman who was orphaned at a young age. She was taken in by Lee Kang To’s family and raised as his sister. When she learns of her betrothal, she does not want to marry the man her father has chosen for her and instead wants to be with Lee Kang To.

General And I: Themes
There are several themes that can be gleaned from watching General And I. The first is the theme of love conquerors all. This is evident in the way that General Wei and his wife, Lung, continue to fight for each other despite all of the obstacles in their lives. Their love for each other is so strong that it allows them to overcome any hurdle thrown their way.
Another theme present in the drama is that of sacrifice. Both Wei and Lung are willing to sacrifice anything for the sake of their relationship. Wei gives up his military career while Lung sells her body in order to make money for her family. However, their sacrifices are ultimately rewarded as they are able to build a life together despite all of the odds stacked against them.
Lastly, General And I also touches on the theme of class struggle. Throughout the drama, Wei and Lung are constantly fighting against those who seek to keep them down because they come from different social classes. However, they eventually triumph over these obstacles by proving that love and sacrifice can transcend class boundaries.
These are just some of the themes that can be found in General And I . What others did you notice?
General And I: Review
If you’re looking for a lighthearted and feel-good drama to watch, General And I would be a great choice! It’s a classic story of girl meets boy (or in this case, tomboy meets general) and they fall in love despite the odds.
The drama is set in the fictional kingdom of Tianxing during the Republican era. Our heroine, Yang Wan (played by Zheng Shuang), is a strong and independent woman who disguises herself as a man so she can serve in the army. She meets our hero, Gao Feng (played by Wallace Chung), when he saves her from being bullied by some other soldiers. Gao Feng is a kind and just man, who also happens to be one of the most powerful generals in Tianxing.
As you can probably guess, General And I is full of romance, comedy, and even a bit of action. If you’re looking for a fun drama to watch that will make you laugh and cry, then I recommend checking out General And I!
General And I: Criticism
The highly-anticipated Korean drama “General and I” aired its finale this week, and it was met with mixed reactions from fans and critics alike. Some praised the show for its heartwarming romance and beautiful cinematography, while others criticized it for its slow pacing and lack of development in the second half.
One of the biggest criticisms of “General and I” is that it took too long to get going. The first half of the drama was spent establishing the characters and their relationships, while the second half was largely focused on the romance between the two leads. This left many viewers feeling frustrated, as they felt that they didn’t get to see enough of the main couple’s story.
Another issue that many had with “General and I” is that it seemed to lose its way in the second half. While the first half was lighthearted and fun, the second half took on a more serious tone as the conflict between our leads began to take center stage. This change in tone wasn’t handled well by some viewers, who felt that it made the drama feel disjointed.
Overall, “General and I” is a flawed but nonetheless enjoyable drama. If you’re patient enough to sit through its slower moments, you’ll be rewarded with a touching love story set against a backdrop of stunning scenery.
General And I: Legacy
If you’re looking for a show that’s full of drama, romance, and intrigue, then look no further than General And I: Legacy. This Chinese television series follows the story of a young woman named Yang Guang (played by Crystal Zhang), who is taken in by a powerful general named Gao Fei (played by Wallace Chung). The two eventually fall in love, but their relationship is fraught with danger and complication, as they must navigate the dangerous world of politics and war. With its strong cast and compelling story, General And I: Legacy is a must-watch for fans of historical dramas.
General And I: Conclusion
The final episode of General and I was both heartwarming and bittersweet. While we were sad to see the drama come to an end, we were also happy to see the characters get their happy ending.
The episode started with a flashback to when young Yang Yi (played by Kim Soo-hyun) first met his future wife, Zhuang Xiao Rou (played by IU). It was a touching scene that showed how their love had developed over time.
In the present day, Zhuang Xiao Rou is now pregnant with Yang Yi’s child. However, she is worried about what will happen when she gives birth to a baby with royal blood. She knows that her husband’s position as a general means that he will have to live a dangerous life and she doesn’t want him to put himself in danger for her sake.
Yang Yi assures her that he will always be there for her and their child and promises to never let anything happen to them.
The couple then visits Zhuang Xiao Rou’s father, who is now on his deathbed. He tells them that he is proud of what they have accomplished together and gives his blessing for their future together.
Afterwards, Yang Yi goes off to fight in a battle against rebel forces. Although he is outnumbered and outgunned, he manages to defeat the enemy thanks to his masterful strategy and courage.
While this is happening, Zhuang Xiao Rou goes into labor but fortunately delivers her baby safely. When Yang Yi returns home, he is overjoyed at the sight of his wife and child healthy and safe.
The drama ends with a montage of scenes showing the couple’s life together as they raise their child with love and happiness. We are left with a feeling of warmth and satisfaction knowing that these two characters finally got their happy ending after all they went through together.
