Just before giving birth to twins Beyonce and her team announced the four winners of The promised Formation Scholars Award…

 

 

First announced to celebrate the one-year anniversary of her record setting album release, LEMONADE, receiving both critically-acclaimed and globally-lauded visuals Beyonce launched the BeyGOOD initiative on April 24th followed by the promised The Formation Scholars Award for the 2017-2018 academic year.

 

Well just before going into labor, Bey and her team announced four of the winners who will receive the scholar going into the semester. The Formation Scholars award encourages and supports young, creative, conscious, confident women,  who are unafraid to think outside the box.  Students’ disciplines included creative arts, music, literature and African-American studies. All applicants maintain a 3.5 GPA or above and submitted a short essay stating how LEMONADE inspired their educational goals. All finalists and winners were selected by committees from the colleges and universities.
